Meet Matthew Goddard, DO

Matthew Goddard, DO is originally from West Virginia and obtained dual undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Psychology from Marshall University located in Huntington, West Virginia. He then spent time at the prestigious American Sports Medicine Institute and Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama where he was a student intern. He is a 2019 graduate from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. Upon completion of medical school he entered a Traditional Rotating Internship at Larkin Community Hospital South Miami Campus which he graduated from in 2020. Dr. Goddard then entered the Family Medicine Residency Program at Larkin Community Hospital South Miami Campus from which he graduated in 2022 obtaining board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. He then completed a +1 Fellowship in Osteopathic Neuromuscular Medicine at the Institute for Non Surgical Orthopedics sponsored by Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus followed by a Sports Medicine Fellowship by the same facility. He is currently the Assistant Program Director for the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program at the Institute for Non Surgical Orthopedics sponsored by Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus. Dr. Goddard has a love for sports medicine and has volunteered his time as a covering physician for various high schools and youth organizations. He also is a Professional Ringside Physician with the Florida Athletic Commision and a physician member of USA Boxing. Dr. Goddard sees patient's aging from newborns to Geriatrics and treatments include Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT), Cranial Therapy, various injections including regenerative Medicine, and fracture management. In his free time he officiates Football. Basketball, and Baseball.
